All joking aside, I'm a little sad that the brothels were raided. The brothels are already becoming extinct. And now, the cops might have dealt them a fatal blow. A few years ago, before the brothel business started to die down, the red light areas of Mongkok were a blast! So many girls parading around. It was a free show every night with several hundred girls. You were free to watch and slowly pick the one that you liked. Sometimes, it took me 3-4 hours to finally pick the one I wanted. Lots of young and fresh girls from mainland China. That was before 2005.
