Not SEAJ but I will try to answer your questiions.
I have a 2 quick questions for you and the guys,
Is it advisible to visit HK and Guang Dong in the summer? How bad is it? In terms of Humidity and Heat? My guess is that from reading some of the stories here is that:
Have you been in these kind of places before ? For example Hawaii, Florida or NY during the summer ? S. China is NOT as bad as places nearer to the equator like Bangkok or Philippines but close.
In the Summer there may be more College working girls visiting HK?
Yes, schools is out during the summer meaning more girls during this time. Bad thing, airfares are most expensive during summer and X-Mas and Chinese New Year. It's peak season for travel.
There will be a Lot of Thunder Stoms! Does this make getting around CP more difficult? any flooding?
In Southern China, the monsoon period or rainy season is from late April to May. Places can be floored and 3 feet deep. You can be stick at your hotel and NOT get be able to get to the train station in CP. It happened once to my friend stucked in CP. You can see rats swimming.
My perception of visiting in the Fall is not as favorable since, there usually are crack downs beginning from August to Oct.1
Raids can happen any time.
and then there's the trade fair till early November.
For Oct, the Canton Fair. last year it was the games in SZ. This year 2012, don't know if there are any events. | |
