I must say there are a good variety of answers here to this predicament.
I think it's tough for many SO: kids, job (for some), house stuff, etc. I know not all are like this but it must count for something for many. I think a lot of guys don't try hard enough with their SO's and go elsewhere because it's a soft option - me included.
My SO will get into most of the things I am looking for but not that often and it's hardwork to align the planets (mood, kids, business, all get in the way).
Punting gets the job done for me and I do love the variety, it doesn't help that Asian chicks drive me wild.
