I think it's more than a reaction to public outcry
it's also common-sense
after all
for those who really are sex-workers it's free publicity 
[OK perhaps I have to add that I wouldn't wish a public parade on anybody ... but for sure I can see some head-scratching at the contradiction inherent in turning a public institution and the local news media into the off-line equivalent of this website!!] | |
