Of course they don't want him to succeed. America has been brainwashed into worshiping black athletes by default. The very thought of an Asian ( who is suppose to be a submissive good boy ) succeeding in a sport that is dominated by blacks, some whites and a couple europeans thrown into the mix is definitely disturbing to most of America.
