Presidential Plus card
Chase - MasterCard. Tied in with my old continental frequent flyer program. If flight is delayed for more than 12 hours I get delayed trip insurance. Covers "reasonable" food and lodging expenses. If the flight gets cancelled, there's another list of recompense. But I don't have it on me at the moment.
I looked at it this way, I'll get what I normally get. If they do reimburse me. Awesome. If not, oh well. They were pretty cool about helping me out.
The reason I get my ticket covered is because the flight was cancelled and tiger airways was trying to dick me around. So I said if tiger won't refund the ticket, my CC will. So I called and they did. It definitely was not worth the hassle and I would have much rather been getting a bj from some cute bar girl for 1200 pesos overnight then arguing on the phone with someone over 740hkd (this flight was more as it included my Clark to BkK trip too) | |
