As far as I know/I think, we had always in the past mostly relied upon the goodwill and good sense of members here to police ourselves - in deciding what is appropriate to post up or not - and backed up by others' ability to comment/rate/suggest changes etc. IMHO, it would really be asking too much of our Mods to do this - PLUS the fact of the matter is that the Mods here only carry out what the majority of members here wants/think proper.
In that sense, we all are sub-mods in that we all do set the tone and the conduct of each one of us. Many times, the mods will not even act until they see that a lot of us find something not acceptable/they usually will NOT be the ones to put their feet down. ALL to their credit for truly being "moderate" in their duties.
And thus yes, I AM many times the bad guy for calling a spade a spade, as indeed an ordinary member like I could WITHOUT making it an edict from the heavens! Of course the Mods don't need for me to do this AT ALL - but ..... what the hay!! I ain't sex141 King Shit-Stirrer for nuthin'!
And as you can see, there ARE some guys here who neither have common sense nor respect for others. Sigh....!
