Thanks for your reply on your own situation/outlook i/o speaking on behalf of Goose.
Anyway, I can empathize with what you are saying .... and here it goes again and I'll probably be branded as a Mod shoe shine boy... AGAIN! .... BUT, I think you realize that the Mods needs to do things for the BETTER good of the forum as a general. And I know you agree that the Mod's job is never an easy one...and to think they only voluntarily do this!!
This being so, of course one "ruling" or another is not going to please everybody...and worse, it don't please somebody or another most times; but if you think of the greater good of the forum i/o just from your own POV....well... I hope you understand.
And as far as the Mods saying "stay or go - its up to you" well.... that is FACT isn't it? All they can do is make the best that the forum - IN THEIR OPINION - can be. If they only listen to you (or worse, say only me!!) - do you think that others are not gonna leave in disgust and as an exodus?
We all make mistakes, and its most times best to really examine and try to figure out what it is that is mistaken in our POV/actions, correct it if you find out that you HAD been mistaken OR just to forget about it and go on to enjoy life as what it is. Real life as well as 141 life!!
And also think about it - is your anonymous presence on a board such as ours so uncompromising and serious that one thing or another is gonna stop you from enjoying it? Something which I'm pretty sure you did before you started to over-emphasize each one of our individual contribution to the board? You, I and all other members here - includng the individual mods AND Goose - are just a single one in quite a large number of other contributors.
