I don't know what the laws are like in HKG, but in most places the computer and networks are the property of the company who has the right to examine them any way they wish. That includes checking on sites, putting screen capture software on your computer - hidden to you, and key-loggers. It is their computer. their network, and you have no right of privacy while using it.
So your 141 handle wouldn't be quite so anonymous any more.
Now travelpro it is your company and therefore, presumably your computer. But would you want someone in the IT department learning that you are travelpro? In most company grapevines news flies around fast, and we'd soon have a whole new load of nookie newbies doing searches on what travelpro has posted.
And what about when someone in the IT department gets fired. You think that pissed of WG's can be a pain - wait to see the world of hurt that a disgruntled IT guy can lay down! | |
