Hmm, so those things happen in China as well during CNY. In Indonesia, similar things happen. Some of the poorer folks who does nothave proper job, would resort to criminal acts to bring back money back to their hometown. This is to kind of "show off" that they are doing well in the city.
But the worst thing is that they halt all sex-involved business activities for a good one whole month. I find myself alone playing with my right/left hand at that time.
