Even on your ATT roaming it won't be that expensive. Don't call, just SMS (same flat rate per message worldwide) and they tend to understand SMS english much better than spoken english. It's the only way I schedule now. You'll only be able to work 2 or 3 possibilities anyway so I would:
1: Write down my 5 possibilities before takeoff,
2: SMS for an appointment upon landing for 90 minutes out.
3: Keep a short backup list of saunas in TST in case you get lucky on scheduling, so you can bang your HG AND catch a sauna before jumping on the MTR back to the airport.
Plan on spending a few extra bucks on your ATT phone, it won't be that much. And DEFINITELY take the train into TST, much faster and cheaper than a taxi! | |
