So the boat rental was THB 45,000? (9x5K)? I guess its reasonable at US$1,500 for 10 hours.
Just make sure that you guys don't get charged too much for a lot of things they sprung on me when I JOINED at 4 hour snorkeling trip in Phuket last month. I think 40 of us packed into that old and dilapidated "yacht" at THB 1,300/pax - and most of the time they just discharged us on a beach - where I got charged THB 80 as soon as my bottom hit a sun-deck chair which was liberally placed around the beach. Then some more to rent flippers which they warn we should wear to avoid injuries around the rocks etc!
Then before we came back to port in Puket, they actually had the nerve to pass the hat around to solicit tips!! LOL!
