When I first started here, D'Artagnan wrote me an analogy.
Imagine you, a relative stranger, walking in to a lively cocktail party where old buddies are drinking, chatting and laughing away. You observe the scene and decide that you like this crowd and instead of slowly trying to fit in, you loudly announce your presence and act as if you were part of the "usual crowd" - what do you think your reception would be?
