Yup - you're absolutely correct IMHO.
that's the reason why for the most part I don't even monger in Hong Kong and would only do so in china and when I'm traveling overseas. I've had too many close calls and all sorts of waste of time controversies when out and about in Hong Kong.
Having said that though, I also one time got into a helluva mess when my wife unpacked my luggage from a trip to Singapore where I had, on the way in, picked up one of those bags of tourist maps/info. Well, of course I never even looked at what's inside it as I'm quite familiar with SGP - but inside that bag was an open box still with 2 condoms which I guess some idiot had abandoned on his way home.
Yeah, I always "cover my tracks" when I'm out mongering and have all the right answers etc - but this pack of condoms threw me a helluva loop and I had a Helluva time explaining the truth instead!!
