fjackass makes some good points. i realize that cultures differ, but if u browse the Japanese-escort sites, they make it clear that some ladies are "gaijin-OK"...and you generally pay more. here in HK, we're used to more diversity, but there are times when gwailos are not-OK. much like FJA,i'm fine with this but let us know before we make plans. fortunately, in HK, a backup plan is never far away, but as he points out, it's "costly, annoying, and humiliating."
and as he also points out, that's a revenue stream they're losing. a place like K-Pressure which is proactive in welcoming gwailo biz will get the nod--not only over that punt, but over future punts.
then there's the dreaded GDS (gwailo dick syndrome). yeah, every man's fantasy--and fueled byUSA-porno featuring muscleheads with oversized pistons. it can be really obnoxious...i'm not some outsized-penis freakazoid, but...well, it's on the large side, but usually not a problem. Thai and Vietnamese technicians, great. the exception seems to be SOME mainland dames, absolutely not all. i've never had a problem at a sauna in China, for example--many PRC women don't regard it as anything special. REAL problems are rare, and discernible--it's just not working, and i withdraw and go with plan B as i'm not going to hurt somebody. it can be, as FJA pointed out, a curse.
but the GDS is a state-of-mind. when i first got together with my Japanese galpal, i thought we'd have to use a tablespoon of Astro-Glide every time we had sex. but after 2 or 3 encounters, no problem. i actually asked her about this later on, when we were living together--she shrugged it off and said at first it was difficult but then...she searched for the word: "i have become...ACCUSTOMED." it's really that simple: this was a civvie who'd never had a gwailo boyfriends. considering WGs often have 2 or 3 encounters before teatime, the High Drama of GDS is a bit much.
in general, i'm humbled and honored to be able to monger as freely as i do here in HK and Macau. people are accommodating, and bros share info. for my part, i do my best to be respectful and understanding. if ladies are apprehensive, i do my bit to warm them up and am sure to take things slowly at first. it works almost every time.
