I can attest to the loyalty (and somewhat foolishness) of a PRC girl (not a working girl), this one was my girlfriend for three years who lived over here in Australia. From the get go she knew my family situation and I was very clear that I would not leave my family in any circumstances. She agreed to this but never truely accepted it as I found out in the course of our relationship. We had a couple of holidays together and she kept raising the idea of buying a house together and these conversations never went well as I kept bringing her back to rule #1 - we leave the family out of it. Totally devoted and never tried to get money or gifts from me, lovely, lovely girl and incredible in bed.
Yadda, yadda,ya - tried to end it with her severl years in but she went a bit crazy on me. We agreed that she would end our relationship at a time of her choosing - strange but true - which ended up ok but not without some dramas.
Live and learn, i'm probably just a bastard but do feel that if you are upfront with girls they should understand what they are signing off for, this is certainly not the case in my experience. Much easier to pay to play, relationships primarily based on sex (even mutually satifying in that regard) are just too much trouble.
