if u have a QQ acct and if u loaded up a photo
their engine is able to determine the source of the photos and date
ie, iphone, canon powershot 850 etc etc
i always found that interesting Okay guys, for the record the EXIF information is included on the photo itself. It's not QQ, not Facebook, not Flickr, not Photoshop, not blah blah blah that adds it. It's on every single JPG/GIF/RAW/etc. image file out there. Now, the amount of information included in the EXIF is dependent on the original source writing it. With digital cameras for example the camera will write the info to the file when it takes the photo. It's been like this for the past 15+ years. Flickr and other sites just read that info from the file you uploaded.
If you want to see it just look within Windows (any version it won't matter), right click on the file, select properties and then click on the "Advanced" button to show the file details. On OS X it's within "Get Info." |
