Need All U computer Wunder Genius's advise!
Further to my rant above #2126 about guys NOT putting up pictures on their reports - and thus seemingly wasting such good effort in writing up the report, I've just been PM'd the following:
Hey SEAJ, I hear you and I noticed that in your thread. Here is my reason for not having done so and maybe you can correct me if I am wrong.
You know how guys on here can always check what kind of camera was used and other information just from the photos. Well, I noticed that when I had to save the DB photo onto my computer to attach it to the thread, I noted that details such as the name registered on the computer showed up in the properties of the pictures. The bottom line is that I do not want any of my friends to figure who I am otherwise... I am not sure if this is making any sense but it was just something that I noticed from one of my first reports and ever since, I have never added the DB photo because of this. When I attach the real photos, I just put the SD card into the computer and link directly to the SD card without having to save the photo from the SD card to the computer and then to the report. Make sense?
Let me know if I am correct or not and I will go accordingly.

I've looked for the info on pictures I've put up and note this line "This web site does not supply ownership information."
And had just taken it for granted that it could not lead anybody back to me or connect me with the posting up of such pictures - but.....what do I, the ultimate computer Doofus know about such things!
So would appreciate it if you guys who KNOWS computers well could give us a definitive advise/analysis if we indeed do have something to worry about when putting up pictures.
