Lisboa Murder Suspect Caught

Men arrested for murder of prostitute

A man was arrested on Friday for the alleged murder of a prostitute, the Judiciary Police (PJ) announced.
According to the security forces the 42-year-old admitted to killing a prostitute in his room at Lisboa hotel on June 24 after an argument over the payment of sexual services. He hid the body in the hotel room where cleaning staff discovered it two days later.
The mainland Chinese is also charged with stealing a necklace from the victim and pawning it before leaving Macau.
The suspect was arrested while he was trying to return to the territory on Friday afternoon. He was identified based on footage from surveillance cameras located at the Lisboa hotel.
The man was later taken to the hotel to re-enact the murder, PJ said.
The case was sent to the Public Prosecutions Office and the suspect could face charges of aggravated murder and theft. | |
