Farewell Macau
Well gents, my current work in Asia has come to a close. And while it will be nice to see “home” again, I will definitely miss all of the interesting things this town and the region as a whole have to offer.
I think it’s been just over a year since I joined this forum, and I have to say it has been well worth the price of admission. With just a little bit of research matched with real life experiences, it becomes easier and more natural to have good punts.
I’m going on a vacation that will take me through Thailand and other spicy places, so there are sure to be more stories. And then we’ll see how things go when I get home and the urge hits me.
I’d like to give a big thanks to all of the high level contributors and some senior bros who have provided great feedback and have inspired me to up my game when writing reports. I especially want to call out JackTheBat for his unique writing style and support over the past few months. We had a couple of opportunities to meet up in person and he’s “good people” as we would say back home.
I have also enjoyed “sharing and caring” as it has often been called to help out the new bros. I think you need to do this to feel a balance and to “pay it forward” if you will. It takes a lot of time to write reports and read reports and keep up with this hobby, so appreciating someone’s efforts here is important to keeping the community going. So bros, when you read someone’s report, don’t just glaze over it looking for a “good fuck,” take a second and leave a quick comment. It doesn’t take anything out of you and will motivate people to contribute more.
I wish each of you the best as you search for that which keeps you happy.
See you down the road….
