I think your best bet at that time of the night - with all that luggage - is to get a Van service to cross over Huanggang (the one where you do NOT need to get off the van/it takes you right across both borders/make sure first at the counter!!) and have BS Dave arrange for his driver to pick you up there.
This should be a lot cheaper than $1,500 with the Huanggang pick-up not costing over RMB 300.
