Hmm, what did that trip cost? I am afraid to tally it up! Yes, I was in the Philippines, and this made it cheaper, but it was NOT cheap. I think the boat+captain worked out to about HK$5000 or thereabouts. The girls where extra (hehe) but we agreed that I would only pay each the regular 1 nite over-nite price even though we spent close to 36 hours together. It was a treat for them too, and they saw it that way.
And yes, I travel for work extensively, and have for 20 years or so (that is, my SO is used to it and doesn't even wonder which country I am in half the time). If opening a new office may have to spend a fair bit of time at a site. Add a day or two before/after every blue-moon for something like this and I suppose my job/lifestyle is tailor-made for someone who wants to play. And play I do... | |
