I think I can check many of the items that you have suggested. We both know that there is zero chance of any relationship. Geography, language, age, desire -- it's obvious to both of us. Things were kind of romantic at first, but she's now just another internet chat buddy and most of our conversations have become pretty mundane. 'Whatcha doing' or 'how are things going'. But some days she is depressed and opens up a bit. She is trying to plan her next steps, but can't see a happy future.
Since I'm not in a position to send her any money, I'm not monitoring her savings, but she says she is saving what she can.
I just figured that this is probably a common problem. A WG that wants to go civvie. There has to be an army of do-gooders out there who have adopted this issue as their personal way of making the world a better place. I was hoping that someone has stumbled upon them and I could point her to them. | |
