HG Statistics
Hi Guys,
For curiousity's sake, I have been gathering data from this forum in the last 6 months to find out the best time of the year to visit HK (based on the number of available HGs in 141).
Before proceeding further though, please bear in mind of the following:
1. the numbers shown below are only averages,
2. data was taken every week, mostly on Saturdays,
3. data covers only certain HGs,
4. chinese gals data with rate ranging from 799 to 1,000 HKD were gathered only last April,
5. made only two weekly readings in May.
So here are the results,

Chinese (700 to 899 HKD) - 212

Short Summary
For JG & KG - January was best with the highest combined average of 30 HGs; March and June the worst, with only 20.
(I visited HK last June, indeed only a few choices here last month)
For Thai - January to April, only a few HGs were available; from May to June, they will no longer available.
(Maybe no demand? or logistics were difficult? In Singapore though, there is plenty of supply... then again, each country has their own set of advantages)
For Others - June was the best with the highest average of 6 HGs; February the worst, with only 2.
(Not much to say here as I have not experience them 1st hand in HK...)
For Chinese - June was the best time to visit.
("Too many choices, too little time..." have we heard of this phrase time and time again, hehe.)
Overall - there is no clear pattern here just a set of specific good months and bad months per HG.
A lot of seasonality factors have to be considered like the weather, economic conditions, big events in HK, etc. and mix that
with the HG's timing for her financial needs or her preferences like convenience or enjoyment's sake... you get the idea. 
Conclusion - what is the best time to visit HK?? ANYTIME, ANY MONTH is the BEST!
