Bro, you miss my point.
We ALL have something to lose. I have a LOT to lose (if everything went to the extreme worst case).
But do I give up on life (the life I want) because of fear of the worst case? Many, many, many do. This same trait keeps them in middle-management roles.
We are only here once, Bro. Live it up.
Again, don't get we wrong.., I prepare and plot and plan and protect (excessively) most every move to ensure I have a way out. Just like I do in business. It is not reckless abandon I practice (well, sometimes!) - but mostly it is determined and thought-out evenings where I have an alibi or reason to be gone.
I will not leave this planet without trying to do every fucking thing I ever wanted to do.
EDIT: I had to add something. I am not an ego-maniac nutcase. But I do believe (and have totally embraced since I was about 9 years old) two things: 1) We're not here long (so if you're gonna do something, DO IT NOW!), and 2). Nothing is given to you, but it is there...... Go get it. All of it!
