	I honestly think that you have more of an issue with being increidbly guilty minded for mongering than you do for anything else.    Dry sore throats are a symptom of about 1000 different things, and in a place like HK, it is just as often caused by mouldy air conditional air as anything else (clean them things out!).    Her symptoms sound much more like a small throat infection (explains the headache and the fever) that her body is combating.   She may have even gotten a minor ear infection on the way by.  It can take 7 - 10 days for that sort of thing to clear.   If she is still in significant pain at the end of the weekend, she might want to consider a doctor or at least a solid round of penicillin, just to help get rid of any infection.
