Was she a WG or not?
A couple months ago in China I was walking around town, it was my last nite on business trip and had a bit of free time.I was not in a real tourist area, there were some shops and some restaurants but the place was a bit quiet around 10pm. It was cold and people were wearing winter clothing.
My employee is checking out which train/mgr/subway whatever it's called in China, we need to take to get back to the hotel. She is a HK local. So she steps away to read the signs and I'm standing alone on the sidewalk.
A girl approaches, looks mid to early 20's, dressed normal, jeans coat, purse. We make eye contact and she doesn't look away. I'm immediately surprised cuz I find the Asian ladies avoid a lot of eye contact. She's cute even with some acne, nice figure and walking slowly without any real purposes.
We hold eye contact for a while and she passes. Then after she passes she says, "excuse me, where did you get that jacket?". It's a jacket of an American sports team. It was such a surprising question all I could say was,"huh...the U.S."
She says, "the U.S.? Uh..never mind.". She stutters a bit then starts to walk away. I just say, "what happened?". She just apologizes and walks away.
I'm totally lost. My employee asks me what that was about. I tell her I have no clue.
It was driving me nuts as I was walking down to the train. Why the fuck did she ask about my jacket? Was she a fan, did she get embarrassed, obviously something made her uncomfortable and she took off.
My employee said, if it's bothering you that much go find out. So I go back and I find her several minutes later in a coffee shop.
She is shocked to see me but I ask her in a friendly why she was asking about my jacket. She says, "you came back to ask me that.". I explain to her it's my favorite team and wanted to know if she's a fan.
She downloads a pic of formula 1 racing and says she thought that's what it was. It took several minutes to get that understood.
During our conversation she asked me 3-4 times When I'm leaving. She kept saying she's visiting for some work, every time I ask her what she does she says she's a student, but visiting for some work. I keep asking what does she do but she avoids the question.
After a while she says she is from Taiwan studying in Singapore but she doesn't like it so she is visiting a friend to discuss how to break it to her parents she wants to move to panama cuz she likes Spanish. I try a couple phrases in Spanish but she doesn't know shit. She said she had one semester but the stuff I said she would have learned the first week.
Her story is fucking weird, it's so weird it sounds believable cuz who would make up shit like that.
She seems like she's holding back something and she keeps asking me when I'm leaving. Fuck, I have to leave tomorrow.
She doesn't say how long she is staying, overall very friendly, cute and fun girl. She gives me her Skype account, it is really long and takes extreme care in making sure I get it right.
I meetup with my employee again and this mystery girl continues to amble and wander the street. WTF just occurred. Damn I wish I could have bought Hera drink and figured out what was going on.
Was she a random friendly college student? Hard to imagine, I've never been approached by an Asian girl unless she was a WG, they don't seem like the type to stop and make eye contact with foreigners unless they are selling.
But this girl wore no makeup, was friendly and sweet but nothing sensual, no " massage" question or anything. Or did she. First approach me but then saw my employee and then ran away? I dunno. Maybe it was just an innocent encounter?
Skype turned out to be a bust. Her contact name was real, but tried 2-3 times to say hello but never got a reply. No fucking clue. | |
