hey guys, for those of you who browse the Chinese forum regularly, I'm sure you've come across the term "lin". Often, you'll notice in a report some comment about a girl having "pink li ...

Yes you can call it some sort of slang.

You know what a bicycle bell looks like?
When you press that handle once and again it sounds "Lin~~ Lin~~" and on. And the bell itself looks like the breast. Furthermore, in most case at the top of the bell (breast) there is a knob (tit).

In spoken Cantonese, some HKers may say "lin-lin", but it is not necessarily plural, in Cantonese we won't emphasis a plural form of everything. When someone say lin (or lin lin), it may be referring to the term 'breast(s)', OR 'tit(s)'. Of course when you read 'pink lin', it is referring to the colour of the tit(s). You won't expect a big difference between the RHS and the LHS, right?
