What's it like?  In a word: great

Yes it does get old

And yes when you have an all-you-can-eat buffet you only gorge yourself at the beginning, like chocolate in a chocolate factory  

because when you can repeat as many times as you want, repeating right now loses its urgency ... you know you can come back tomorrow, or next week if you prefer ... you know you're not missing anything you'd regret

Having the choice
is more important than exercising the choice ...

and you start to become more discriminating
looking for quality rather than quantity
searching for gems
because you know its worth waiting
not because the currently available selection is lacking in any way
