im curious, are there ways to increase reading levels outside of reporting?? Im from Canada and over here the industry isn't exact that of Hong Kong so its hard to make those kinda posts, i'll probably be making a trip to hong kong this summer to re-enjoy the food but that wont be later this spring and i wanted to read on more china articles before that time. anyhow let me know, thanks a bunch.
Unfortunately, the short answer is – Not really!!
At least, the best and easiest way to achieve reading levels is by putting up your own GOOD report and hoping that others will grant you Karma points (1K = 1 posting credit) for your effort.
And we ain't particular as to where the report is about - and in fact a lot of us really like "International" reports as those are really useful for us when we do go out to your neck of the woods! We also love "overview" type of reports on the mongering action in your part of the world.
A few tips to make your reports as “productive” as possible:
- Do NOT ask for K’s when you write a report – guys really frown on this and often will instead give you negative K’s instead – besides calling you names like “Karma whore!”
- Do NOT put up any fake reports or include fake facts etc as doing that will really get you in hot water here; you see, a lot of us rely on such reports for our own “adventures” and …. Well, you get my drift
- Try to include REAL pictures of the girl you are reporting on – those really turn the bros on here! But here again, make sure that its not “sneaked” pictures as we also have a rule NOT allowing this. And please do remember to put appropriate rating (or PM a Mod to assist you if you’re still a newbie as you’re not able to do so yet) on the picture. A minimum of RA 20 for all real pictures and RA 30 for those showing face – even blurred ones.

- If you don’t have your own real picture of the girl (and come to think of it, even if you DO have your own real pictures), you should try to post up her picture on her Craiglist or whatever service you found her from. Indicate to us how closely she looks like/resemble this “ad” picture as we’re all very wary of all the Photo Shopping being done with the 141 Gals’ DB pictures.
Now, specific to your question – is there any other way to get posting credits – and the answer is of course yes! Do so by participating in discussions at the various threads on a variety of topics. But here again, do NOT be tempted to post just for the sake of getting posting credits – for you will come a-cropper sooner or later doing this. Don’t ask obvious questions, give superfluous comments or thanks or blithe remarks – as they’re quite obvious and WILL attract negative K’s. But if you have good and real questions, or can share your own perspective, or suggest another way to approach the subject etc – in other words – really get into the discussion, then your contribution will not only be appreciated by others here, but more importantly will allow you to really enjoy yourself participating – for you will soon discover the spirit of sharing and caring doing so. A camaraderie that is quite real here amongst like minded guys discussing a subject near and dear to us all – MONGERING!
And last – and I hope not least – howzabout participating in this idle chat thread – for we have created this thread specifically for you guys who don’t have anything specific to report right then and there – for let’s face it, we really can NOT monger every day – right?! Just get into the swing of things here and I’m sure that you’ll very soon venture to other parts of the forum.
