Wen Jiao Bao awards inaugural Young Chinese Citizen of the Year to the Foshan Big Cannon

It has been announced that the inaugural "Young Chinese Citizen of the Year" for the year 2010 has been awarded to Foshang Big Cannon.
The announcement was made today, midday, December 31, 2010 by a spokesman for the Chinese Premier, Wen Jiao Bao.
The spokesman said that the Premier was deeply impressed by the decision of Foshan to renounce fornication and become a monk.
He said that the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China has unanimously approved his recommendation, at a recent plenary session, which also ratified the country's next 5 Year Plan.
In a prepared statement, Wen Jiao Bao said that as well as renouncing fornication, Foshan's example will be a role model for other Chinese youth in the Government's anti-inflationary drive.
The spokesman said that Foshan's earlier spending on prostitutes generated considerably inflation pressure on the Guangdong economy.
Wen Jiao Bao applauded the example of Foshan to quit this type of spending.
"I grew up in a large and very happy family, with many brothers and sisters. My mother and father were not fornicators, and I am pleased that Foshan has followed their example."
He said that central values of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China were (i) elimination of opium imports from the west, (ii) the cessation of fornication, the practise of which was introduced from the West in the 19th century, and (iii) very low inflation.
"The example of Foshan in relation to fornication and low inflation should be admired."
"I am pleased to announce him as the inaugural winner."
Also approved by the Standing Committee of the People's Republic of China was a new directive to give preferred translation employment opportunities to translators and interpreters who were not attractive, and to stop the practise of providing beautiful agreeable interpreting companions to visiting delegations.
