For us Foreigners, it can be hard to pick the age of Asian women. Certainly it is a general observation that Chinese women seem to keep a nice figure and look "younger" for longer than Western women (although when they do age it seems to be rather sudden). Occasionally you will see a tourist couple wondering around HK, Perhaps in their mid - late 40s, both well past their prime. As they browse the shops and fend off copy watch and cheap suit salesman "another couple" will catch the eye of the husband...him: early 50s, about 20KGs overweight, bald, but with a grin from ear to ear... her: could be as young as 25 (but who knows) beautiful face, lovely figure, clearly in love...
You can see the split second where the first Bro looks at his late 40s bride and the "trade in" goes through his mind.... I guess that's what you're talking about.
