That;s a question I've been asking some of the WGs I met before, apparently, they are less prone to UTI but more prone to STD. Maybe they are immune to UTI, too mild for them. 
or maybe they clean their puss all the time, before and after the session.
In China, most of these gals will use "douche" to inseminate and squiritng aqua/solution into their vagina for cleansing and rinsing. This will keep the vagina/cervix moist and smelling fresh. Rinse away odor and most believe getting rid of bacteria.
Although my family doc believes that douching changes the balance of natural chemicals in a gal's vagina and can make it easier for the gal to get dangerous infections. Because the chemical balance of the vagina is very sensitive, it is best to let the vagina clean itself naturally through secretions.
My doc also said UTI can be contacted through public toilet and how you wipe your ass (never inward).
I tried several times to encourage my ex-SOs to use douche, they got pretty be offended. 
As a matter of fact, lots of Civi gals have no idea about the douche existed in the pharmacy.
As for STD, this is a transmitted problem. I will not go into this bcos I am no expert. so leave it at that.
I was suffering from UTI several times for the past few years, never from WGs but everytime from my SOs. Sometime, no shower before or after sex as a result of spontaneous intense and passionate sex.
