Can comment on my experience:
For Sauna's, I have only ever been to D1, 18 and Rio.
D1
D1 is by far my favourite establishment. You get to spend more time with the girl (90 min if you purchase package in Shun Tak, vs 75 min walk in), and is close(r) to the ferry pier, right behind the casino near the pier.
Mixed bag of Thai, Viet, Chinese and a couple Russians. "Models" add an extra $500, they sit to the right side as you walk in.
The girls sit in against the walls and you sit on the couch opposite to view the selection. As you sit down on the couch, papa-san will give you an overview of the selection. I always go for the one that stares back at you with a smile. Never fails. Had some repeats which were good, as the girls remember you and give you good service.
Basic routine is you pic the girl, she gives you a massage (I usually give the girl a massage), then hop into the bathtub where she washes you down real well from head to toe, body wash, gives you a BBBJ (depending on the girl), then onto the bed where she will give you fire and ice BJ, and then you do the deed.
Can go in there on your own no problem.
Prices start from HKD1,600 from Shun Tak and is inclusive of ferry tickets to and from Macau. Tipping the girl is not mandatory, and I usually tip them based on service provided.
The girls are a mixed bag. What I find is that the Thai and Vietnamese girls will give you an awesome massage, and also good service. The Chinese girls can be a hit and miss. There is one chinese girl from Dalian from memory who can speak english. She is usually at the door welcoming customers, wearing yellow shorts and white shirt (you will know what I mean). She is one of the prettiest and hottest Macau girl I've seen. Very slim body (almost zero body fat), good sized tits and about 5'6/7. She's really in demand, as I remember when I did her, the very next minute, she was chosen again by another punter.

For choice, 18 is the place to go imo. Girls to suit different people and needs. Tall, short, S&M, big tits, small tits, you name it, they got it.
Basically get undressed in the locker room and you hit the spa area. Girls to help wash you, sauna etc. You then walk into the main area where all the punters sit and relax. Food is available, along with massage options.
I remember my first night and a lineup of 80 girls, and my jaw dropped. There are some really pretty ones in the line up.
Very busy during weekends, and you are at the mercy of the show to some extent, but what a show! Won't spoil it for you. The girls do come out after the show and talk with punters sitting in the lounge. If you hit it off with one of them, then no need to wait for the show to begin before you choose.
Once you choose, you wait until a room is ready, and you have an hour to do the deed. If on a busy night, you may wait up to an hour before a room is ready....
You're lead to your room, the girl comes in, washes you down, gives you a body wash and also licks your whole body, and onto the bed for BJ and ML.
Once your deed is done, you can relax at the lounge area or go.

Rio
Rio is pretty much the same as 18 (run by the same mob), but more upper class in terms of design. Though I have to say I will never go to Rio again. The quality of girls is there, but the lineups are pretty much 60-70% "models" and therefore pay HKD500 extra.
Prices start from HKD1,800 from Shun Tak and is inclusive of ferry tickets to and from Macau. you can get the HKD2,200 package and that includes one free massage service of your choice.
Recommend that you visit 18 and Rio with friends as it can get a bit lonely waiting for the show to start.
KTVs I been to are Rio and Deluxe. Both are run by the same establishment... nothing much to say in that you get the KTV room for 2 hours (Karaoke extra charge), lineups change and you can pick any girl mama-san brings, and if you click, tell mama-san not to take girl away otherwise you may never see her again. Once 2 hrs up, and you want to do the deed, you are lead or given a hotel room number, and basically have an hour or so to do the deed. Can be quite fun with the girls in the KTV room, get to know them better.
Definitely good with friends.
From memory tickets from Shun Tak start from HKD400 with return ferry tickets. This gives you the 2 hr session at the KTV, and if you want to do the deed, cost another HKD1,000 and up.
