I think a small monochrome design on the shoulder would be the most tasteful or have one curled around your ankle.
There are also culturally specific designs, if you are of Chinese extraction, you might want a Chinese dragon, if Japanese then a Japanese dragon. You can also get stylised Chinese or Japanese characters that say dragon.
As a first step, why don't you get a temporary tattoo and see if you feel the same in a week or two.
