"In Ip Man 2, they got the storyline all wrong ... if u look up the history of ip man, when he got to HK, his son should be in his twenties and him in his 50s.... and the second son was not born in HK... Well, other than the poor history lesson, the movie was actually pretty enjoyable with decent amount of fighting scenes."

Ip man's two sons did not arrive in HK until they were almost 40.  By then Ip man was almost 70.  They were too old to learn, and Ip man was too old to teach them.  The two sons were taught wing chun by Ip man's senior deciples like Leung Sheung, Lok Yiu, Chu Shong-tin, and Wong Shun Leung.  Neither is very good at wing chun.  The poor history lesson is intentional because Ip man's sons are consultants for the movie. They want to change history to support their claim that their lineage is the most orthodox.  Ip man died without clearly stating a successor leading to much confusion and infighting about who is the most orthodox.  There are just too many misconceptions to list.   As a side note, I find it funny that no one ever mentions Ip man's lesser know dark side - like he was a habitual user of the opium pipe.
