In the Early Years
Way Way back in the 1968, when I was still a very young teenager, may be 24 years old or, A class mate of my invited to joint him to go to Japan as well as Taiwan. Japan trip was nothing much, the Taiwaan trip left me a very long deep impression.
Then Taiwan was still a very undeveloped country. Basically all farmers, Girl who were more rebellous will come to cities to seek for fortune and many of them end up in the Barber shops. The Barber shops might look very innocent, but actually they were the contact point, or introduction baits with the girl who will do your 'hair cut'. The girls really had the skill of doing your hair cut, but with some interreactive skills, itl led to your own arrangement you could have made. Those girls could be a one night stand, your weekly girlfriend, or even a long time your girlfriend in Taiwan when you are there. Many of them just seek for fun as we then were known as 'Oversea Chinese' presumely having more money and able to spend on them and they do not mind to be your companion during your stay in Taiwan.
Many of them act as your 'mistress ' during your full stay there. A very interesting social behaviour then. They normally would not even asked for extras.
With the growth of IT, the Copmputer manufacturing era, all those 'farm girl found jobs in the factory, and because of their increased in earning power, they were more independent and more chosey to go along this line of trade or profession.
I will continue to tell you more of my adventure during those year. Any one who has those old time exprience to share, let us start this thread.
