Does anyone know how it's best to travel here from Sheung Wan station? Is there a bus I should keep an eye out for or just suck it up and get a cab? You have lots of choices:-
1. Easiest and fastest is Taxi - a 4 minute $18 ride - you can print this map and show it to the driver.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q& ... g&sll=22.287468,114.143368&sspn=0.00348,0.005547&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=291+Queen's+Rd+W,+Hong+Kong&ll=22.2873,114.143202&spn=0.00348,0.005547&z=18
2. Cheapest is the tram - literally outside the MTR exit - need to get off somewhere near Island Pacific Hotel, and walk up Centre St 1 block.
3. Bus is most practical (what I usually take) - cheaper than taxi and faster than tram - ANY bus going through Central / Sheung Wan to Kennedy Town will go past Su's front door. Includes 10, 101, and a ton of others I can't recall. The stop is "Centre St" = "Jing Gai" in cantonese, and is just next to a huge red Wing Lung Bank hoarding.
Get off there, cross the road and walk up 1 floor.
Details are on the website www.ThaiRetreat.com
