HONG KONG BRACES FOR KORO EPIDEMIC
Medical authorities in Hong Kong are bracing themselves for an outbreak of Koro, the disease which causes male genitals to be retracted into the body.

There is no known cure for this little-known disease which has appeared in various parts of the world from time to time for no apparent reason.
The last time there was an outbreak of Koro in Hong Kong was the late 1960s when wide-spread panic was caused. Thousands of men besieged hospitals clutching their disappearing penises.
Men in Hong Kong are advised to be vigilant and to visit their doctors as soon as any symptoms are experienced.
The outbreak is believed to be related to vaccines being used for swine-flu prevention around the world.
Hong Kong’s leading sexologist Dr Lee Lai-hai of the Medical and Health Department advised men who start feeling their penises shrinking to secure them first with a strong rubber band and then head for the nearest emergency department.
“If a woman is nearby and willing to cooperate, she should be requested to apply strong suction to the disappearing member,” he said.
The Reverend Goose Lun promised that churches in Hong Kong would include Koro sufferers in their prayers over the Easter weekend.
“ God did not intend for men to be penis-less,” he said during a TV interview, “ but unbridled mongering may have triggered a backlash.”
The Pope was quoted as saying that Koro may be the solution to the Catholic Churches current problems. “We are thinking of having our priests vaccinated with the Koro virus as a preventative measure,” he said in his thick German accent.
When questioned by reporters he replied: “I will have no need of such treatment myself as my dick has been limp for almost half a century!”. | |
