They won't let you give them an advance to go out and buy a nice pair of shoes or something: that would be so wrong, wouldn't it! Utterly degrading!!! But if you're there in person? No problem. Of course, as a kid I bought unthinkingly into the hypocritical bullshit, and thought nothing more of it. But it only takes a little critical thinking for the house of cards about prostitution being wrong to come crashing down.
In its place I look at where is the win / win.
