How many of those posts are informative? I'm guessing a majority since he's earned his status thus far.... I believe a very small percentage are "informative". Just because a member has made a certain ("high") number of posts, which the current forum system automatically rates with a high RA rating, doesn't automatically make the poster a sage.
I wonder how many of SEAJ's posts you've actually read? I would be gob smacked if anyone has actually read them all. I would give them a medal.
If the posts are one-liners, then how about (a) letting mods do their job (b) remind him there and then or (c) scroll down and ignore it.
It's not difficult to navigate and/or ignore the replies that you don't feel is relevant. There are avatars where I don't particularly like, so I scroll faster to ignore. There are replies that are so long-winded that I skip all the mumbo-jumbo to read the next reply. There are pics I find very long to load or are side-ways, but hey, scroll through it and/or read what interests you..... Very wise advice! |
