I completely agree with you, but we all know what happens when a Newbie does that.
Sylvan received neg 1A and neg 1K for what I thought was a very reasonable Newbie comment to the report on Yumi MK8; nothing at all wrong with it. He then, as you suggest, put up a sprited 3-ine defence and we can all guess what happened - yes, of course he received a further neg 2A for his trouble.
This happens time and time again and the message to Newbies is clear - STFU and don't argue or you'll get more of the same.
Is it any wonder that a lot of bros stop posting? | |
