I have an old friend whom I went to school together with (an all boys' school, which may explain a lot) and we have known each other for decades (there, I dated myself). It was only during the last year that we found out from each other that we had both been punting! Now we have more reasons to get together than just the occasional beer or meal. We go on punting trips together, review our action, discuss our punting habit in perspective of our lives, families etc. It was wierd to find out after so many years.
