The problem with this question is it assumes we can get one answer because all WGs think the same, a preposterous conclusion.
I usually leave my wedding ring on and I don't think it has made much difference to service. I guess there are WGs who may fancy their chances for a boyfriend and I expect a single guy may have a better chance of stringing them along, although all the WGs know us Bros never, ever, lie. 
I've had affairs with WGs who knew full well I was married, I suspect a couple may have thought I would leave my wife. Logical right, why would I visit a WG if I wasn't unhappy with my marriage? We all know that is not necessarily true.
I'm sure many WGs have the script worked out to deal with, and flatter, both married and single men e.g. "are you married?" .... "yes I thought so as you know how to touch the right way", or I was once asked by the most beautiful blue eyed blonde beach babe working her way through university if I was married and she said she was glad I was as it was less complicated as too many single customers fell in love with her and created complications (I could really understand why she had that problem).  | |
