Dissing another Bro's woman + Manila Pespective

There's been a lot of dissing here (International Reports) lately.
IMHO, everybody has their own preference hence the cliche "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
This is a forum, a community, let's respect each others opinions and preferences.

Here's another perspective (most Filipinos share the same view)

To foreigners visiting Philippines - my retort to an article in Redbook

Was going through an escort forum ((www.myredbook.com)and encountered a so-called FAQ of the Philippines. Well actually it was an article that compared Philippines to Brazil and Thailand.

Just to give some snippets:

- Philippines is rated as the cheapest

- In terms of quality, Philippines is rated last because we "don't have the asian attitude to take care of the man."

- We "rarely insist on condoms."

- In comparison, Brazil's Rio has "beaches, great food, hang gliding."   Philippines (specifically Angeles City) has the worst.

After reading this, I have made one summary assessment: Americans do not know how to party in the Philippines. Please note this is my shamelessopinion. If any readers out there disagree, feel free to drop me a mail or comment below.

Why do I say this? Because Angeles City always come to mind when you mention Philippines to the Americans.Historically, Angeles City was home to a U.S. base---Clark AirBase---and because of its proximity to a site that houses Americans, it is expected that go-go bars would sprout. Same situation happened in Olongapo, which was home to another U.S. base---Subic Naval Base. Old memories do die hard.

Now I've been to Clark a few months ago to fly off to Singapore. And honestly, in terms of bars and ladies, it will not hold up to the places in Metro Manila. If you don't believe me, check out the site www.balibago.com and compare the ladies with the pictures of the Pegasus babes at my Peggy Sues blog article.  In fact, if you want to do an apples-to-apples comparison, Angeles City is more like Makati's P. Burgos. And, as I mentioned, P. Burgos is the "McDonald's fast food of the men's entertainment business---cheap, filling, but of low quality and questionable health."

Why don't these traveling Americans go to Metro Manila instead? My thinking is that they go to Angeles because it is cheap there. According to the the forum, a short-time tryst is $10.Overnight is $20.

And this is what I can't understand. A lot of Americans go for, as we Pinoys call them, the "exotic" ladies. They don't go for the "mestiza" types. And it probably borders around pathetic. You travel halfway around the world to get laid with ladies who, in the looks category, are not actually up to par. Either the ladies in your home town are bottom-feeders or you yourself are not exactly ranking high in the attractive category. True the article does say that we have gorgeous ladies, but please, you have not seen gorgeous if you just limit yourself to Angeles.

If you want to have adult fun, Quezon Avenue offers a much better repertoire. An alternative routine could be in the Airport Road area---food in Dampa, ladies in Air Force 1 or Starfleet, gambling in Casino Filipino. And if it is just drinks and clubbing, they can go to Greenbelt 3 or Metro walkin Ortigas. If beaches are your thing, then visit Boracay, Palawan, or Cebu. Want a taste of history? Go to Intramuros or Corregidor.Shopping? Go to Divisoria. Worried about the costs of hotels? Based on my own experience, I was able to book an twin-room apartelle, walking distance from Makati commercial center, for $45.
