I read reports from many posters that the girls, newbies, office girls, college girls etc, seem to try to make some extra money during the weeks before CNY.  I assume this is true as they want to have money to take home with them for presents, food, gifts, and to show how successful they are.

Now, as I am not going to China until 2 weeks after CNY, I wonder if the reverse holds true.   IE:  They come back broke and need to work for awhile to get some of the money back that they spent while at home.  Does anyone have any experience with this??   I would like to sample some of the less professional wares if possible.


In general I go to China 4 or 5 times per year.  Almost always up North (yes, somewhat cold), but the severe crackdown does not seem to have arrived up there yet and the prices are lower.  I normally only do KTV's and have never had a problem picking girls, but then I am not that picky anyway.
