Last Friday I picked up a super sexy Vietnamese gal in NeptuneII (long hair died blond - which really worked on her, surprisingly enough).   Anyway, during the whole bar moment she asked me around 5 times if I was a cop.  I finallly convinced her I wasnt, but she said in the last few week she has seen Gweilo cops (undercover) in the bars all the time!  Hmmmm, scary stuff.  It seems they are only after the gals to see if they are soliciting (while on a tourist visa.., illegal) but still..., watch your manners and your conversations with strangers that might be a little too inquisitive....   

By the way..., I cant recall her name, but she's got to be the only blond vietnamese chick in NeptuneII.  She's got a great look and killer body..., but a very businesslike manner to her - in an oddly charming way.  The GFE was obviously not real, but she acts in such an "open" manner about the whole thing that you sorta cant help but like her. She did things I normally dont like (cash up front, split immediately thereafter, etc.) but the sex itself was so good it didnt really matter...  I dont quite know how to explain it.....

I gotta hunch a repeat session with her would be quite a different moment (a lot more GFE...).

Yes white.  Actually I know a couple gweilo cops on the force here (though
  they work in Kowloon, not WanChai).  I think there are still quite a few.  Why they waste their time busting WGs I don't know!!!

Funny... but you know what.... that's basically what she said.  I asked her why she was so convinced I was a cop...  (I mean.., asking me 5 times!!!  Enough already!).  I am no Brad Pitt, so I aint bragging here...  but I am tall, trim and the "right" age, according to her.  She also said I was too confident about the whole "pick-up" and negotiation.  Ha.. I guess I AM too much of a slut.., in some bizzarre reverse-phsycology way my extremely bad ways (being confident and knowlegeable about the WanChai scene) convinnced her that maybe I am actually be the opposite.  Interesting!

Anyway, the fact this happened to me once before not that long ago (in Makati) where a gang of WGs fled the scene thinking I was LE means the story must be true -the girls are a bit spooked.  Undercover Gweilo cops ARE hunting in WanChai bars.  

Add this to recent spate of raids going on in Hotels and the fact that a Walkup Girl said LE was in her building 3 times that week....  and ummm, Holy Shit!  Is HK embarking on a massive clean-up?

a lot of it is due to the increasing incidence of guys getting robbed whilst their drinks were spiked.  Its getting to be a real issue in wanchai.

gewilo cops in HK are too senior to be doing this ... they are probably at these bars trying to get freebies !!!   

Over the years I met many cops and ex-cops (locals, overseas chinese, gweilos) in the bars/clubs of HK. Many of them were fitter than the average street beat cop and quite confident. Some of them knew many of the hot girls at the clubs. They were not necessarily Brad Pitt but still handsome, well dressed, and charming in both Chinese and English. Generally they were at the bars/clubs to pickup not to raid unless u count raiding pussy - a raid.

The funny thing whenever I see the undercover gweilos and locals at a liquor license raid, these guys tend to be older and not so fit. Even in undercover garb they would stand out because of their age and bad club fashion sense (their fashion would fit in better at the bars of wanchai).


Besides the cops were the local firemen. These guys were way fitter than the cops because of their job nature. Among the local club crowd, the firemen have a reputation of playing the field. I guess a lot of the local girls fell for the macho look.


PS: besides your fitness, I bet ur hairstyle is that clean cut look favored by those in LE.

Anyway, I guess the point of the thread was not to wonder why the girls questioned me - in both cases the gals where very young (22 or so) soo not exactly expert "cop-watchers".

As Daik35 said, it could be they are watching for drink-spikers too, as this has been on the rise in HK (and not just WanChai, but LKF too).  Or drugs.  Or, of course, just haveing a nite out partying...  Still, if an off-duty cop wants to have fun with WanChai bargirls surely he would have to lie about being LE.  Right?   I would think 99.99% of the bargirls would find a quick exit shortly after him saying "I am a cop".

Because the cops don't want to put themselves in a situation whereby they may have to declare themselves as cops with the wgs, practically all HK cops punt outside of HK (their jurisdiction) so at least they can say they are just enjoying their holidays.

So I don't think the HK police force wants to spend their time inside the wanchai bars as it would be torture for them...only looking allowed, no touching permitted while 'on duty'. They are just there because the drink-spiking incidents got reported in the English papers. The govt hate getting negative publicity that can harm their international image.
