Great to hear that you are coming back out or mongering retirement! Let me tell ya, although you are older than me by a bit, at our age we all know that life is short and that we should live it up! I mean, once you get back into the game, you will ask yourself why you even left the game back at 28 and 30.

Sure the kids are all grown up, you did you job as a husband and father. You sacrificed your life for your family and the years of hard work put in taking care of them, you should turn your attention back on yourself. This is the time were we should do some self reflection and realize that we should do what we want to do! WE spent too much time and effort on taking care of other people's needs that we need to satisfy our own needs. So you taking 35 days off, i think you should take 65 days off. Because at theend of the day you will realize that you DESERVE to have fun!

This is something that SEAN couldn't understand since he's only a mere 28 years old. He wouldn't know what it's like to sacrifice for his wife and kids, he doesn't even have a steady girlfriend for crying out loud.

It takes decades and more than half a lifetime to realize that life is short, don't sweat the small stuff and just try your best to enjoy life as best you can.

Wishing you a great 35 day trip! Hoping that you will extend it to 65 days as you really should treat yourself better.

But it does point out the fact that each one of us ARE individuals with our own likes/dislikes - in just about everything! Food, lifestyle choices, Gals, way we interact with them etc - and that even though there ARE generation generalities, there is ALWAYS a commonality!

I mean - AD - how could you tell me that the Chicken skin is the best part - ain't you ever heard of Cholesterol? Or that dark meat is more juicy and flavorful? Dim Sum - OMG - soooo sweet....everything!!  Next time at your regular Yum Cha - try isolating your taste buds - and discover how truly sweet even those dim sum that are classified as "salty" are. i.e. Siu My, Fung Chau (chicken paws) etc are.

And gals - believe we both share a lot of commonality in this regards; we both realize how hard a life it is for these gals in China, how there really is not much other choice - and how truly remarkable these gals are as far as loyalty, filial piety, strength against truly unmanageable odds etc are. I believe that neither one of us can even imagine what it would be like to have to "service" just about each and every punter who decides to "rent" her.  And have you seen how truly grotesque some of these punters are in Chang Ping? Nothing against old guys like you - coz IMHO you ARE still quite an attractive, clean and well mannered gentlemen. But some of these guys who truly are even less than zero where they come from - all of a sudden their punting budget (which they had saved and scrimped for whilst back at home) makes them Big Swinging Disgusting Dicks.

The difference between the 2 of us? It's just that you prefer to "sprinkle all over" - as you truly can afford to do so, while I prefer to do good one individual at a time....and get the benefit each and every time - up close and personal!! Seaj, you must be softening.  Usually it is you giving us hell for romanticising the girls, and now we realize that there are some warm fuzzies in your heart after all.

I would like to totally agree with you.  I like to approach every encounter believing that the WG is a wonderful person, either doing the work because she loves it, or because she has a higher calling such as filial piety, etc.

Is it just me?  When I am intimate with a person, I want them to be admirable, as well as memorable.

But I also agree with the first half of your statement - we are all individuals - as are the WG's.   Sometimes you just get a negative vibe, enjoy the sex and forget about any admiriation.

There's a difference .... between romanticizing the gal and .....romanticizing what you/she feels and more importantly, expectations YOU have from relationship with a WG.

I personally do admire PRC WG's for their stoic - sometimes even in good humour - acceptance of what's life handed them. NOT only that, but the very nature of most of these gals to truly be loyal/self-sacrificing when it concerns their family.

But the worst thing about this loyalty is that by extension, they are most times also too loyal to their lousy white-faced BF's.

Yes, these gals ARE mostly admirable - but one must never lose sight of the fact that in most cases, relationship with them is predicated on Red Maos changing hands. Both for your sake and even for their sake - for if they lose sight of this perspective, they are only setting themselves up for a hurtful end.  Let/s face it - how many of us mongers are gonna be there for the long run??  IMHO, most of us have 2 facets to our life - our regular life and our sex-driven alternate life.

Do you - when you first get on our forum for the day, just hit that "new posts" button, get on the list of new posts and then pick and chose where you want to join in?

And have you, like I, been finding that the list of "new posts" these days have been extremely short most of the day?  That it seems that the Discuz engine is "refreshing" this list of new posts several times a day and thus making such lists this short these days? (Versus previously when I think the discuz engine seems to only refresh it once every 24 hours).

You also notice how the number of new posts has seem to have gone drown drastically - since guys getting on the forum can't just go to this listing of new posts and join in the fun or follow up on his previous posting - IMHO only of course.

The number of posts here seems to ebb and flow.  It's the weekend so maybe everyone is out getting material for their next reports.  Two more weeks for me!  LB is stretching in anticipation.

My day starts with Rest of the World, moves to Mongers Lounge, and then Macau, China and HKD.  I usually hit the search at the end to see if I've missed something by a favorite author.  One thing I've noticed is it is real time.  If you hit f5 you often get a fresh post at the top of the list.

Yes, I either hit F5 or else even go back to the front page and hit "new Posts" again - but these days, the number of threads that appear as new posts is always very few .

It seems that the discuz engine keeps on "refreshing" the page every hour or so instead of just once every day....and thus making it hard for anybody to know what threads has new posts etc for him to go on and participate in. And for those who had posted up something in a previous thread, he then also do not know if anybody replied to him  - and/or he forgets to come back to it.

Anyway...........!!

SEAN - really thinking this glitch is the reason for the low level of participation these days.

When I was at Tianyu Sauna in Da Lang, Tangxia Golden Island Sauna, and also Legend Sauna in Huizhou all the Korean girls wore this hybrid costume, between a long Korean traditional sleeve for their arms and a tight blue dress to display their breasts and tight body. You really should take a look at it! They are certainly very good looking and have very good skin in comparison to Chinese girls. Too bad they are all 1200 RMB up to 1300 RMB per session.
