I read your link and first thing that caught my eye is that it costs US$79.99/year and secondly that it's basically just another VPN service.

You realize of course that there ARE VPN services touting all sorts of things - but in actual fact, such service are instead precisely how scamsters actually get all the subscriber's sensitive information!

Excellent article by Zhuren. I am personally not that paranoid, but nothing on the Internet is 100% safe so you just have to weigh the risk.

The reason why I suggested Anonymizer is that it is a big well known Internet company that is known for promoting anti-censorship and would have nothing to gain by stealing information from their customers. In that sense this is not "just another VPN service" and is also why you should pay for your VPN service rather than searching for a free one.

One alternative could be to buy a simple laptop or tablet, use a bogus name, set up a separate e-mail account only for this PC and only use it for all your dirty work. Then they can sniff as much as they want and all they will find is your fun and games on the 141!

If you are looking for a free of charge solution I would suggest the TOR network. https://www.torproject.org/

Discuz! forums have a lot of functionalities, but the admin can decide which one he wishes to activate.

Some time back, I spent some time trying different things : embedded videos, spoilers, etc... but nothing works, all deactivated.

I think I tried them all, and I didn't find any available option we are not already using.

I have heard good things about the former PP place, being clean, cheap and nice inside.. PP had a decent music
system in there and I assume the rooms are the same were not all that bad at a fraction of the cost.

Interesting you said a snack room at the other place, because recently I was at a bar, and below the bar floor in the building
were a KTV rooms with a convenience store in the center of the floor..

I'll let you know sooner how the PP rooms are like. I gotta check the place out soon, as I've been curious! the whole block is transformed into something I can't even recognize anymore. You got the whole building next to Lion Hotel all newly renovated last year. then Lucky hotel re-did everything to have a shopping mall inside, then PP is renovated as well. They are building another big ass shopping mall next to pedestrian outside walkway mall with another movie theater even though number 8 shopping plaza already has a movie theater and Starbucks, Mcdonald's, CK big brands are all moving into the new 5 story shopping mall.

I don't know why they are building so much when business traffic in CP has been pretty slow these days. even number 8 mall seems to be struggling to stay afloat these days.

I believe there is going to be a subway or train passing thu CP in a few years.  People are anticipating future growth.  There is construction in front of Starbuck and Miraton Hotel for the train.

The light rail is being built as we speak. it would be at least 2-3 year until there's going to be any train running through. It will connect DG towns and even to Huizhou area so there is possible future growth in CP. But with the recent foot traffic today, Saturday at 1-2 pm, the most prime time to see people in the pedestrian outside mall there was not many people at all! Which it kind ofmakes sense. It's so hard for the regular person to live in CP these days. Taxis are asking 15 rmb on weekdays, 20 rmb on weekends and on weekend night times they might ask for up to 25 rmb if it starts raining. prices in CP are outpricing the regular joe. You are left with Mongers and WG and even at that it seems that CP isn't as booming as it was the past few years. This year I reallysee a big contrast in the number of people in town.

I have noticed a trickling of Japanese mongers these days as I've had to fight for girls with them at BBS and Saunas these days. But that could just be a recent thing.

hopefully CP still maintains it's competitive edge and is able to attract enough mongers to sustain it's massive investment in fixed assets.

know what - I really do think that we ourselves are at fault for making CP as expensive as it is.

I mean old timers like you, weelock, Freepeaks - to name just a few - we've been writing about this little shit place for how many years?  First over at ISG and now here.  I mean I remember the time that the Dongguan thread at ISG only had a handful of "contributors" to it, SBF didn't even mention anything outside of Singapore and of course this forum didn't even exist yet.  And there were hardly any out of country visitors (except Hong Kong-ers and the resident Taiwanese), never mind white faces.

Now look at the mess!!  We've got all sorts of foreigners here of all color and shape....and worse....proclivities and attitude .... that me-truly-think the whole place is getting to be too much! Coz alongside all these "Different proclivities and attitude" the gals are for the most part very hardened and purely mercenary.

You've written a thread on how CP changes people - both mongers as well as the gals previously - and its getting worse and worse. I especially resent these supposed Big Swinging Dicks that are nothing but li'l peanuts in their own home ground coz they really do play a big part in making the gals so hardened.  Just IMHO with a great big sigh......!

Guys, side track here. I'm heading up to Harbin on a business trip in July. The work itself is only 2 days but I figure that I'll fly in a few days prior just to be a tourist. you guys have any ideas what would be a good travel agency to use?

Some info about me. I speak a wee bit of Mandarin, but can't read or write. I'm looking for an English speaking guide to bring me around the main places. I know Harbin'sto be visited in Winter but the trip date is more or less fixed by boss. I wont care much about the punting since Ill save that for HK on my way back.

To be truthful, CP has always been HK monger's territory for years! Taiwanese only played a little part. In fact Taiwanese within Dongguan mostly set up factories and businesses in Huangjiang, Tangxia, Houjie and a handful of other towns.

HK businessmen set up shop in CP, Zhangmutou and Shilong to name a few.  

But HK mongers coming up to CP have always been very well behaved and have worked vigorously over the years to keep the prices and expectations of women in CP down for years! The reason is HK guys come every week and can whenever they liked, so they have no reason to splurge and be a BIg Swinging Dick. In fact the HK guys have every incentive to keep prices low as they frequent CP so often.

It was actually the Taiwanese Tourists that came in tour buses, mostly those who came in Mongering tours when they served the military in Taiwan and wanted to splurge and get some sex that commenced the increase in girl's expectations. Taiwan tour groups saved up money and then came into town to have a good time and spent money like there was no tomorrow. But most were still relatively poor as they were blue collar workers or Soliders on vacation.

But then when the singaporeans and Malaysians started coming into town, then the girl's expectations started shooting up through the roof. Singaporeans and Malaysians that came to town were mostly businessmen or well off professionals who were extra generous to girls in CP. In recent years, you can hear every CP girl rave about how they love Singaporeans and Malaysians with their cologne and well dressed and well stashed wallets. It then  became the South East Asia evolution.

Then in the last couple of years Taiwan tour groups started vigorously promoting CP to Middle class Taiwanese who came in tour groups of 8 to 10 to sometimes 20 taiwanese at a time where they would book 5-7 rooms at a time in all popular KTVs around CP.

Then you got the Westerners that started frequenting CP as another resort during the canton fair's bi-annual conventions. During those times CP turns into the United Nations or something. Everyone from all parts of the world start trickling into CP like Disneyland.

Everyone is saving every last penny, waiting and waiting in their home country until they can come to CP and just blow it all away. In essence CP really is the Las Vegas of Whoring for men.

From the time when CP only had one hotel-- Lion Hotel, which only served mostly HK mongers and some Taiwanese businessmen, and nothing else was around, until today, things have really changed so much, too much in the time frame of a little morethan one decade.

But one thing that will break all women's financial expectations in CP is not HK guys, Taiwanese guys, the South East Asian guys or Japanese guys or westerners, it's the mainland China guys. The mainland guys are the ones with the Most money and themost access, and they are and will be the ones to outspend and drive the expectations of women in CP and all over China to new highs in the near future.

So guys, enjoy it while it lasts, because nothing good lasts for too long!

I do have a very close friend who works in Harbin.  He is from West Coast of USA. He has been asking to me visit him a few times. I like Caucasian girls and he told me there are a lot of them in Harbin and in the Saunas.  I don't know if he has time and is usually back in the USA during the summer. I have never met you ( Wachovia68 ) and  I don't know anything about you, no offence intended.  He speaks decent Mandarin and has visited many places on his own in China. I have told him it's a little dangerous traveling alone and he's not that big of a person.
