I would not because the risks are too high. Who knows how many other guys she has been given the green light to? Yes it will feel better for a short moment, but it is not worth the risk to your health which can have long term effects on your quality of life.

It depends on your personality too, but I would have anxiety for many days after the fact. It's safer if there were testing results, but that usually doesn't get provided and even if it were provided there is still a risk.

I’ve only went bare 4 or 5 times in my 50 something visits and well it was more pleasurable than going covered, the post visit check ups were more stressful due to the fact that I took a bigger risk

To cap or not to cap – this is the age-old question. I’ve had a few guys on this forum caution me about BBFS reports I’ve posted, including my most recent one. Yeah, I did it one time and that post nut clarity kicked in. As soon I was in my car, I was frantically Googling the likelihood of contracting HIV and other viruses. Even though contraction rate is less than 1%,

I wanted to go on non-occupational Post Exposure Prophylaxis or nPep for potential exposure. I contacted my primary care physician but they weren't taking appointments until much later and I couldn't wait.

Ideally after exposure, you take nPep within 72 hours of potential exposure so I booked an appointment at a CVS Minute Clinic. I got my prescription of Truvada and Tivicay to be taken for 28 days straight.

Thankfully my insurance covered the Truvada but the Tivicay was going to be $800. I managed to find a coupon online that covered the cost of Tivicay. I probably went overboard but the paranoia would have eaten at me.

I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Going to share some thoughts from the past decade of mongering. Playing safe more often than not, but sometimes succumbing to the dark side. Below are my thoughts - *I am NOT a doctor, and anything below is an average dude living and learning I don't encourage anyone to take risks and if my sharing below is deemed inappropriate, happy to delete and avoid this subject in the future.

I was recently asked by a younger guy new to the hobby about this, below is my response - "how do you handle risk of STI as I’m new to this and want to know if this is a serious concern?"


Yes, especially if you have an SO/wife that you could pass something to it will be very important to use protection.  Couple points:

1) If you don't have herpes, you will almost certainly be exposed to it if you do this hobby for awhile - its just too common and can pass from skin to skin contact with an sore and on occasion through asymptomatic viral shedding (aka your partner may not even be aware). Interestingly, the Gold Standard Panel provided by Talent Testing Services for sex workers in the porn industry does not test for herpes (exposure is essentially assumed). It currently tests for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, and syphilis. It does not test for the two most common STIs, namely Herpes and HPV (Human Papillomavirus), and by extension a pornstar can have both herpes and HPV and still be cleared for their next scene.

2) Your chance of getting an STI like chlamydia or gonorrhea is obv much lower if you always use protection. However, a lot of guys will insist on condom for the actual penetration but still get a bare back blow job (no condom). The risk of getting a bacterial infection from oral sex is lower, but not zero - see CDC guidelines. Gonorrhea for example can infect the back of the throat and be passed through uncovered oral sex.

I also noticed I had fewer issues when I was younger. Felt kind of invincible. Now that I'm older, my system is just more sensitive in general, sometimes a vigorous BBBJ is enough to make me sensitive/minor inflammation the next day.

When I  started, I primarily used protection, but on occasion I went uncovered with one of my favorite providers. I dodged an STI for 18-24 months before catching Gonorrhea. It was easily cured with antibiotics, but was very unpleasant.

These days if I do go take the risk with a provider, I always have broad spectrum antibiotics on hand just incase. Azithromycin, Cipro, etc. You can look up the recommended treatment for many STIs online or CDC website etc. Now that I'm a little older, I find if I do take the risk, some kind of UTI or discomfort happens more often. I will usually take prophylactic dose of Cipro (500 or 1000 mg) right after the appointment to minimize the risk of incubating a bacterial infection. Research is coming around to the idea of a 'morning after pill' to limit the transmission rate of bacterial STDs. You can google Doxycycline as a morning after pill for STDs for articles about the research.

You can obtain many drugs online without a prescription (Viagra, Cialis, common antibiotics), but usually it means ordering from a foreign pharmacy and waiting for international shipping (2-3 weeks). It goes without saying that one of the risks with a foreign pharmacy is quality control. There are also now options to obtain prescriptions and STD treatment, including online consultation with a U.S. doctor, that may be more discreet than having these conversations with your regular doctor - if that is a concern or you. For me personally, I always felt uncomfortable making up a cover story with my regular physician to get tested or on rare occasion prescribed treatment. (random tinder hook up 4 times a month? sure!)

3) Just go in with your eyes wide open and make the decision in your head beforehand if you are going to ask for a condom. In the heat of the moment with a beautiful woman about to put you in it is supremely hard to resist unless you have made a resolute decision to play safe beforehand.

Last word of advice, there are many ways to discreetly get an STI test. For example I've used STDcheck.com to periodically schedule a full panel of tests for less than $$. Then you can simply schedule to go to a lab at a local Walgreens, Safeway, or other location that has a participating lab. It's important for my own piece of mind and at the end of the day if I do catch something I could pass on, I want to know so I don't get anyone sick. Usually have the full results back in 1-3 days.

As always - consult your provider. In fact, in America, there's no reason not to seek professional advice, given the county and city clinics, where their goal is public health improvement with commitments to anonymity if desired.

1) Herpes - absolutely spot on.

1a) I would encourage considering HPV risk separately from Herpes. The risk assessment in older adults, but given that we've got quite a few 20s aged mongers, it is worth encouraging connect with their health provider to discuss getting vaccinated.

2) SF pioneered the morning after approach. The caveat is the gonorrheal protection is less than that of other nasties, so it's not bullet proof. Be particularly careful of cipro or azithromycin now, given the rates of antibiotic resistance.

3) Agreed - before sessioning, go with a decision of whether you will indulge or not - given the information you have. Easier to fight off the little-head instincts if you're proactive.

+4) HIV - if you go bare, then connect with your provider and get on PREP - these days there's really no excuse (In the USA)

+5) Important to note that unlike the gold standard panel for the porn industry, most standard public STI tests do not include testing for trichomonas

Appreciate the post above, good points. One thing I want to add to my post above about prophylactic antibiotic use. I cited Cipro above and it had been my go to for a few years if I had unsafe sex. I've started moving away from it, only using it as a antibiotic of last resort (powerful, but has side effects).

It's always a good idea to talk with a physician about anything you take regularly - esp to be aware of drug interactions as you get older and long term side effects. Cipro in particular is a powerful antibiotic, but it is usually not prescribed as a frontline treatment. Doctors will commonly prescribe other antibiotics first and only use Cipro if other antibiotics prove ineffective. A big part of the reason are some of the possible long term side effects. In particular, Cipro can have a effect on your tendons, leading to tendonitis, injuries, and even ruptures. I'm personally dealing with a shoulder injury right now, going on two months since I originally strained it in the gym and still not back to full normal function. Didn't put 2 and 2 together at first.

Anyhow, please look at the possible side effects, especially long term side effects that could persist even after you stop taking something, for anything you take and don't be afraid to discuss with a doctor. There are many things you can do to mitigate risk, but everything comes with a price. No get out of jail free card yet.

If you are thinking about and are really curious, just like anything in life, you have to try it. But remember once you try it you may never go back to wearing a condom. Like driving a sports car then going back to you 10 year old Toyota Corolla. But do remember the possibilities of your actions. If you get something, you will learn your lesson and wish you could turn back time, but by then it’s too late. But final tips, live life, if you want to do something, just do it. That’s how we all learn in life.

I would never go to a WG to have sex without a condom, never. Doesn't matter if she tells me that she is healthy and has no disease of any kind, it doesn't matter if she even proves it with some kind of attest from her doctor, it doesn't matter if you are healthy and have no disease of any kind. Too many things have happened because of such behavior, at least, even if non of you too have any kind of disease, you still could get kids with her - that's something to be aware of too. I have got a friend who decided some day to go and have sex with a WG without condom, he now has a kid with his chosen WG - he is now paying a lot of money as he is responsible for the kid. She tricked him and told him that she takes the anti-pregnancy pill and that it will be safe because of that - she had never taken the pill, she had never wanted to avoid kids, she was tricking man for some time to get this happen.

So no, the risks are way too high to have unprotected sex, there are diseases, there are kids, there is your life that's in risk somehow?

This was a very long process, first WG did call him everyday (they had changed numbers, all numbers are registered in our country), as he blocked her to avoid further contact,
it was quiet for some time. After around 1 year police called him, now not only he has a child (it was proven his child through DNA), he and the WG got problems due
unregistered & illegal prostitution.
